The approach bridge crossing the canal is part of the Bangladesh 337MW/305MW (Net) Power Plant EPC Project, which was undertaken in 2014 under the EPC contract by China Power Engineering Consulting Group.
The bridge features a single-span structure with a span of 42 meters and a height of 28 meters. Its structural design integrates functional requirements with aesthetic considerations, resulting in a bridge form that combines practical performance with a visually distinctive, arch-like appearance.
