Skechers Logistics Center Phase II Project
The Skechers Logistics Center Phase II Project has a total gross floor area of approximately 270,000 square meters and consists of four high-standard fully automated warehouses. Upon full completion, the project will become Skechers’ largest integrated intelligent logistics hub in Asia, serving both online and offline distribution operations.
Our company was responsible for the construction of Warehouse C within the project. The Warehouse C and sorting center adopts a four-story steel frame structure, with a building area of 53,780 square meters and a total height of 43.95 meters. The steel columns are designed with box sections, with a maximum section size of □750 × 750 × 48 × 48 mm, using Q355B steel. The steel beams are mainly H-shaped sections made of Q355B steel, with the largest section reaching H(1150–1000) × 500 × 18 × 32 mm and a maximum span of 11.95 meters. The roof structure is primarily composed of tie beams, tension rods, and turnbuckle assemblies. The total steel consumption of the project is approximately 7,800 tons.
In response to the large beam dimensions and significant floor heights of the structure, and to address the difficulties associated with installing end plates at both ends of steel beams in traditional construction methods, a hinged clamp plate design was adopted. This solution significantly improved installation efficiency while enhancing construction safety. In addition, a segmented column erection process was implemented. Each steel column was assembled in five sections from bottom to top, requiring stringent control over column verticality, elevation accuracy, and weld quality throughout the construction process.
