8th Span Steel Box Girder of Section 3, Fengxin Express Line, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province

In 2017, the 8th span steel box girder of Section 3 of the Fengxin Express Line in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, was completed. The project was designed and EPC-contracted by Beijing Urban Construction Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.

The bridge adopts a single-box, three-cell steel box girder structure. The steel box girder has a structural depth of 2.2 meters and an overall deck width of 16 meters. The total steel weight of the bridge reaches approximately 2,200 tons.

This project features a relatively wide deck combined with a compact girder depth, placing high demands on structural design accuracy, fabrication quality, and on-site erection control.
