Rongbro Hosts Delegation from Ukraine's BF Industrial Park to Discuss Post-War Reconstruction Cooperation

Rongbro recently welcomed a delegation from Ukraine's State BF Industrial Park, holding in-depth discussions on potential cooperation opportunities in infrastructure and industrial development, followed by an on-site tour of the company's manufacturing and engineering capabilities.

During the visit, Mr. Shao, together with Niu Dan and Wu Jiayi from the International Business Department and Wang Xu from the Office of the company, received Mr. Ivan, Director of Ukraine's State BF Industrial Park, and his delegation. The two sides engaged in candid and thorough discussions on international industrial capacity cooperation, regional infrastructure development, and cross-border engineering collaboration, exchanging preliminary views on possible models for future partnership. Mr. Ivan's visit marks an important step toward establishing a working relationship between the two sides in international engineering cooperation, laying the groundwork for deeper engagement going forward.

On-Site Visit Showcases Comprehensive Capabilities

Following the meeting, Mr. Ivan and his delegation toured the company's production workshops and project showcase area, expressing strong appreciation for Rongbro's integrated capabilities in steel structure design, fabrication, and installation. Since its founding in 2009, the company has specialized in prefabricated steel structures for sixteen years, with a business scope spanning industrial plants, high-rise buildings, large-scale public structures, port equipment, petrochemical equipment, and Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems, forming a complete service chain from design through fabrication to installation.

During the tour, the hosting team gave Mr. Ivan's delegation a detailed introduction to the company's extensive experience in industrial facility construction, covering customized steel structure solutions for sectors including electrical, warehousing and logistics, machinery manufacturing, automotive components, daily chemicals, petrochemicals, new energy, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Ivan was particularly impressed by the company's technical track record in high-rise building structures and large-scale public buildings, noting that this experience aligns closely with the kind of large-scale infrastructure development Ukraine's reconstruction efforts will require.

The discussion also covered the company's representative domestic projects in transportation engineering and steel bridge construction, as well as the cross-border collaboration experience accumulated through its overseas project portfolio. Mr. Ivan noted that the company possesses the strength and foundation needed to participate in major international cooperation projects, and that there is room for further engagement between the two sides going forward.

According to information shared by Mr. Ivan during the discussions, Ukraine is actively planning its post-war infrastructure reconstruction efforts and hopes to establish long-term, stable partnerships with international partners, including Chinese enterprises. These remarks reflect information provided by the visiting delegation during the exchange, and specific developments should be confirmed through official channels.

A Focus on Sustainable, Green Construction

Notably, when the conversation turned to the sustainability dimension of post-war reconstruction, Mr. Ivan's delegation also asked about the company's progress in green energy and innovative building solutions, including the application of its Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems. Company representatives explained that, as global demand for low-carbon construction continues to grow, Rongbro has steadily increased its R&D investment in new-energy building technologies in recent years, aiming to meet construction requirements while supporting broader environmental and sustainability goals, a direction that aligns well with the green standards typically emphasized in international reconstruction projects.

Moving Forward with a Focus on Compliant Cooperation Pathways

Rongbro places great importance on the outcomes of this exchange, and the International Business Department has begun researching feasible pathways for participating in related international cooperation projects. In line with internationally accepted cooperation practices, the company will steadily advance work in the following areas:

  • Completing the necessary registration and filing procedures with relevant domestic authorities and industry organizations
  • Strengthening communication and engagement with relevant Ukrainian institutions in China
  • Continuously monitoring public international tender information and related developments
  • Proactively understanding the qualification requirements for projects funded by international financial institutions, and preparing the necessary capabilities and credentials in advance

The International Business Department will continue to track the progress following this exchange, advancing all related work in a steady and orderly manner. Drawing on the company's project experience across sectors such as port machinery equipment, petrochemical machinery and equipment, and commercial and residential facilities, Rongbro will approach every opportunity for international cooperation with professionalism and full compliance.
